Trees, having lost half their foliage, standing around what can be assumed to be a path, but it is buried under many golden leaves.

A street in a sunny morning, the sun shines on an old industrial looking building. The cobblestones the street is paved with reflect the blue sky. The street is deserted, with not a soul to be seen.

Yay! I just learned my photo was selected for the juried exhibition “In Honor of Trees,” by photographer Wendi Schneider. This is my 3rd acceptance this year, out of 4 competitions I’ve entered. It’s quite an honor to be so consistently recognized.

Photograph of a surreal landscape. A largely bald mountain sits above a very flat, yellow plain, which is laterally bisected by a crack, created from water erosion. The mountain is covered with green grass from base to peak. Seemingly swarming across its right ridge and front face, is a very dense and compact mass of round-canopy’d trees, with just a few tree-spots further away, like freckles. The mountain looks really strange; it is traversed by pale horizontal paths, and the tree growth seems tightly controlled, even manicured. The plain is yellow from vast swaths of flowering lentils, which the valley is famous for.

Tolles Bio-Geek-Wochenende kürzlich am Federsee... Mit sehr wenig Schlaf, aber tollen Sichtungen ! Hier eine Flussseeschwalbe kurz vorm Sturzflug in den See , ein Bluthänfling auf dem Ausguck, eine Rohrammer bei der morgendlichen Gefiederpflege und ein Teichrohrsänger beim, nun ja, singen.

Some Friday morning tits

These are coal tits (first two) and great tits (second two) :)

The same coal tit, looking left now, but from the angle of the photo the wings and tail are obscured, so it looks like a fluffy blob on little birdy stick legs

A coal tit on the inside ledge of a bird hide. Its colours are bright, the black and white stark and the yellow vibrant.

The same bird, now on the corner of the ledge, peering downwards. It's sharp and in focus, and you can see some feathers on the back of its head sticking up.

I'm on the hunt for this camera. It was my first digital camera I owned as a kid. I found the software awhile back and really want the camera again, but I can't find one.

Does anyone have one or know of any leads? Would love to have this in my crappy digital camera collection.
