My sleepytime tea ran out but the website was out of stock. I've taken enough herbalism classes to feel confident making a basic blended tea, so we went to Mountain Rose and got the ingredients....

....which included an entire bag of catnip

....which means he finally has his own supply

....which means the little dude is high af right now and has basically melted into his box

....which is adorable.

There’s a tech story to this ofc, the #flipperzero will read animal tags and even though the ISO FDX-B standard is centered above 130kHz, it’ll pick it up just fine if you find the exact spot.

The tag on ‘Stribe’ (‘Stripes’) had migrated a bit up towards the upper part of the neck, so it’s not located between the shoulder blades anymore, which is where I think it was initially inserted. It took quite a while to find it - luckily kitty was patient

I had my hopes up for a temperature readout as well but apparently this chip doesn’t support it. Too bad really, I would’ve absolutely loved that

Well this has been a naff September

Kar just getting over Covid and now I go down with it, so not much work or photography getting done for a few days now.

So here's our kitten Chi, who is curling up with me on sofa and looking after me Animals make our lives so much better.

Couple of days off at home looking after Chi who had a bit of surgery yesterday.

Doesn't seem to have bothered her

Our rescue kitties have really settled in now.

Does not seem six months that we've had these balls of trouble but they are well and truly part of the family for life

Discovered the hard way that the kitten is obsessed with the massage gun. I cannot use it on my sciatica, because as soon as she hears it she comes running, and then attacks.

However, if I need to find her, I can just put it on the bed and turn it on, with the cutest outcome. #CatsOfInstagram #cats
