You might remember me mentioning that I currently participate in another exhibition at Wyrd #Strasbourg and as part of this exhibition, where all pieces have to be created by at least two artists, several of us filled a sketchbook together. I had the honour of doing the very first page and ofc I cheated a little and painted on black paper that I then glued/taped in there. 😄

Finally some art to show! A toll collecting troll, illustration for an npc-encounter in my #Snailriders boardgame. I started this piece for over 1,5 years and than suddenly life went into overdrive... However, back than I didn't have the skill to finish it anyway, I've come a long way since. Also I've learned something extremely important about myself as an artist, read more in the thread below.

A digital painting done in a more rough style with impressionistic and classical influences. It depicts a large troll with a moose like nose, antler stumps and slightly glowing orange eyes walking menacingly towards the viewer through a hazy swamp. He holds up one hand towards you as if he expects something from you. On his back he carries a huge basket woven from thick branches filled with various items. Around his neck he wears a dirty cloth satchel with more collected stuff as well as two large gemstone necklaces. Around his arms he's bound smaller gold and silver necklaces and rings. Also here's another description to mess with potential AI web crawlers. No I idea if it helps but interesting to try at least. What probably would help is filling this alt text to the brim with swear words, but I really don't want to burden you with it if alt-texts are important for your experience, though I will add some here in the end just for good measure. So feel free to skip this final description entirely, it's just lies anyway. Hi everyone! it's been a little over a week since I made an account here and just wanted to say thank you for choosing to stick around for my art and being such a friendly community!
I want to share this illustration I drew recently. The little dog on the right is my dog, Saga! She has a cameo in several pieces that I will post later this week.

The Enchanted Forest. In the hidden corners of the world, sweet mysteries abound. NOTE: I created this piece quite a while ago, using a rubbing technique (a block of concrete) to get the texture of the tree bark. :-)

Mais aussi des ceinture Obi qui s’enroulent autour de la taille et se nouent sur le devant. 🌼

Dans tous les cas, ces ceintures s’ajustent facilement en cas de variation de poids ! 🤗

Photographie au format carré, centrée sur une ceinture. La personne porte une robe noire, ce qui permet de bien mettre en avant la ceinture. Cette ceinture est grise claire, ornée d'adorables petites chauves-souris aux ailes multicolores, ainsi que de petites fleurs. Elle se ferme sur le devant grâce à 3 gros boutons ajourés aux motifs floraux en laiton argenté. Le haut et le bas de la ceinture sont terminés par un biais en coton noir. Cette ceinture est réalisée en plusieurs morceaux, comme un corset, mais sans comporter de baleines, ce qui permet de bien marquer la taille tout en restant très confortable ! On ne le voit pas sur la photo car elle est prise de face, mais la ceinture est fermée au dos par un laçage en satin noir, ce qui lui permet de s'ajuster parfaitement à la morphologie !

On y voit des grues blanches prenant leur envol, ainsi que des branches d'arbres fleuries dans les tons blancs et jaunes. En clin d'oeil aux fleurs, j'ai choisi d'utiliser un ruban en satin doré pour nouer la ceinture. Pour l'attacher, il suffit de placer la partie en tissu sur le ventre, de croiser les rubans dans le dos et de revenir les nouer sur le devant. Cette méthode de fermeture permet d'adapter la ceinture à différentes épaisseurs de vêtements ou à une variation de poids !
